Privacy Policy

Solutions Federal Credit Union (“Solutions FCU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is owned by its members and governed by a board of directors elected by the membership. Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our members’ personal information is a top priority.

Information We Collect And Disclose About You

 We collect nonpublic personal information about members from the following sources, as permitted by law:

  • Information provided on membership, loan, and account applications and other forms

  • Information about transactions with us or others

  • Information received from consumer reporting agencies

  • Information obtained to verify information provided by you, including from employers or other financial institutions

  • Information collected through digital services and mobile applications, as authorized by the member

The Solutions CardControl application may collect, transmit, and use geolocation information solely to enable fraud prevention features and alerts, and only when expressly authorized by the end user. Location permissions may be changed at any time through the user’s device settings.

How We Use and Share Information 

We use nonpublic personal information as necessary to:

  • Process transactions and service accounts

  • Administer and maintain member relationships

  • Provide products and services requested by members

  • Conduct the ordinary business operations of the credit union

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations

We may share nonpublic personal information, as permitted by law, with:

  • Service providers that perform functions on our behalf (such as data processing, account servicing, or fraud prevention)

  • Financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements

All such third parties are required by contract to maintain the confidentiality and security of member information and are prohibited from using the information for any purpose other than providing services to Solutions Federal Credit Union.

We do not permit third parties to sell or further disclose member information provided to them.

Opt-In Data and Text Messaging

Opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates.

Solutions Federal Credit Union does not sell, share, rent, transfer, or disclose opt-in information, including text messaging (SMS) opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, or communication preferences, to any third party under any circumstances, except as required by law.

Information collected through SMS or other opt-in communication channels is used solely by Solutions Federal Credit Union to communicate with members regarding account-related services, alerts, and member support.

The foregoing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Other Permitted Disclosures

We may disclose information we collect about you when permitted or required by law, including disclosures necessary to:

  • Process transactions authorized by you

  • Protect against fraud and unauthorized transactions

  • Comply with court orders, subpoenas, or regulatory requests

  • Protect the security and integrity of our records

If you terminate your membership with Solutions Federal Credit Union, we will not share nonpublic personal information about you, except as permitted or required by law.

How We Protect Your Information 

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to employees and service providers who require such access to perform their job duties. Employees are trained on the importance of maintaining member confidentiality.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations and industry standards to protect the security and confidentiality of nonpublic personal information.

Your Right to Opt Out 

You may opt out of certain disclosures of nonpublic personal information to non-affiliated third parties, except for disclosures permitted by law.

Opt-out rights may be exercised by members, joint account holders, co-borrowers, and guarantors. For joint accounts, an opt-out request will apply to all account holders unless you instruct us otherwise.
